This piece of sculpture was commissioned by developers Kier Property and Lingfield Securities PLC, working in partnership with the Ministry of Defence and Richmondshire District Council
The work was created by the artist Raphael Daden who was inspired by the shapes and designs of listening devices used by the military in the Second World War
He developed the design working with local schools children and other community groups. The sculpture has been created to celebrate the future of this new town centre in Catterick and to commemorate the centenary of Catterick Garrison in 2015
